"This proved a good stop over location for travel between Paris and Calais. The staff were helpful and the room was comfortable, with firm mattresses and a pillow. The room had lots of hanging space, though few hangers, and a chair and counter. My children enjoyed the park, especially the water jets, immediately outside. "Great proximity to Montemarte. Friendly staff. Immediate streets feel sketchy, especially in the wee hours. Right next to a bar (which was fortunately closed the night we were there). Street noise all night. It is not clear in the ad what you are getting and once in the apartment you can see the photos don’t tell the story- it’s a tiny studio at street level. Queen bed was mediocre. Room smelt like a mix of cleaners and mildew. Outrageous cost but that is inner Paris."

"I didn't expect much from a budget hostel, however there are still things where this hostel can improve. 1. Rooming system (I found my bed was already used by someone else, before I asked for another bed). 2. Maintenance (The luggage bin beneath my bed was broken, couldn't close firmly). 3. Cleanliness (The toilet needed a more periodic cleaning before it stank) 4. Signage (Some people may have difficulty to find the entrance door the first time).
