"Great location and amenities were all as expected for a budget. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a small issue but it was resolved quickly. No complaints and would recommend to others!"

"The room smelled like urine. It is small, dirty and incredibly run down—every facet. The windows are so old that there’s no insulation against noise. When sirens go off, they might as well be in the room with you. The location is great, but the cost vs the status of the room is not at all fairly calibrated. I would not recommend this property. To anyone."

"Terrific hotel. Aside from how nice the room and fitness center are, but the staff was phenomenal. I've never had a room cleaned if we left the "do not disturb" sign on the door when they were in cleaning schedule. Instead, staff asked us later in the day what time was good for us, and then they actually cleaned the room late afternoon as we requested. I've never had that before and it was fantastic. Everybody else was great too, friendly, helpful, always available but not intrusive. Can't say...

"Hotel was lovely, we were a family of 4 and stayed in a connecting room overlooking Broadway. Super clean bedrooms with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The pastries and coffee were very tasty from the bakery next door for breakfast served by very friendly staff. Could have perhaps offered slightly more than $10 though. All in all a fantastic hotel."

"Great location, very friendly staff. However, the first-floor room we stayed in was awful: Windows face the covered patio so no sunlight and no privacy—shades had to stay down, so you're basically staying in a tiny broom closet. AC control panel lights up the room at night. You can hear the subway go by at regular intervals, and we were awoken at 4am by a really loud, jarring jackhammer-type noise. Mentioned this to front desk and in post-stay survey, zero real response other than "so sorry."...
