"We had a very, very nice stay. A big room and bathroom. A good dinner with a perfect wine. The breakfast was the best we’ve had during our week in Italy. The owner is very dedicated to give good service. The big pool looks nice, but it is October so we took a walk into Citta` della Pieve instead."

"Beautiful, seculded hilltop estate with great view and beautiful grounds. Nice pool. Hosts were warm and inviting and dinner of regional cuisine was good. Rooms are large and relatively sparse with minimal amenities, and beware there is no A/C. Breakfast was simple. They produce award winning olive oil available for purchase."

The host, Paulo & his family run a beautiful, historic (yet modern) boutique full-service hotel experience. Room & bathroom are incredibly well appointed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. "The location and resort is absolutely breathtaking! However our experience was not. When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed for dinner and later found out the chef left and they were closing the restaurant for the rest of the year. We booked this location as our first stop in Italy after traveling from the USA to fight off jet lag and specifically picked this place for an agritourismo experience. "The Hotel was spotlessly clean and excellently located for walking to local restaurants and the lake. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and it was defiantly service with a smile. Excellent value for money and we would certainly stay again when we revisit the area."
