"My first time visiting Payson and I’m happy I choose a Kohl’s Ranch Lodge to stay. The staff were so friendly, and assisted promptly when I needed them. I had no doubt that the area was safe and secure while I was in my cabin with my family. Thank you Kohl’s Ranch, we will be back for another stay!"

"Im so impressed with this property. I have stayed more than a handful of times and havent had a bad experience yet. Its clean with comfortable beds, friendly staff and this time was exceptional with the larger room and jetted hot tub. The breakfast is hosted and always happy to get anything you need. We had unseasonably warm weather so the pool wasnt ready to go but have stayed when it was and enjoyed that amentity as well. You will see us again. "

"Safe and great for dogs. Has a huge safe couryard area blocked from the road by the motel. I have 2 chihuahuas. Lower level rooms have patio to the couryard as well so we didnt even have to walk through front door/parking lot to take dogs out. Room was clean and spatious ample parking and a nice bfast buffet with all the fixins just like the photos on website. Awesome weekend getaway spot to beat heat in phx and bring pups."

"The room was clean, but the fridge was turned off. Only 1 set of towels. In the pictures the location gives a much better impression than the property actually is. Was at a good location for our travel needs. Been renovated, but clearly a place that's been for many years with updates. Bed was fine. Gave a feeling of the old west- which it is a small western town. Nothing fancy, but if all you need is a place to sleep for the night, worked fine."

"The property was ok. Small hotel. Says online that it is pet friendly but its not, sign by front office No pets allowed bit heard dogs barking. Have to ask for pool towels and for sofa bed blankets. Was just ok .... "

"Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Mattresses are soft, not a lot of support. Would stay here again because of the location and staff, and Denny's next door with good and reasonably priced food."

"To start, the staff was wonderful, but the accommodations were terrible. The electrical under the desk had no cover on the outlet and the upper outlet clearly had a prior plug broken off in it. VERRY DANGEROUS! The office chair leaked oil on the floor at the desk in the room. The floor tiles were coming apart and presented a trip hazard. The toilet was not properly attached to the floor so when you sat on the toilet it rocked and made noise. lastly the bathtub would only work on shower mode. the...
