The room was adequate. As described and advertised in pictures. Furniture is dated and some of the bathroom tiling looks old, however this was as pictured and expected. All in all a nice character room. The staff were very helpful and helped with booking us taxis late at night. Overall happy to give 5 star rating.

Parking lot, although good, I got lost several times and drove through unfamiliar areas. Didn't know there was a club around the corner, beds squeaked all night. Otherwise nice views, nice staff, young gentleman who served the hot chocolate was wonderful.

Hotel is beautiful but in a creepy "overlook hotel" kind of vibe. Makes for great artistic pictures. Went exploring around the hotel and found there was a family living in one of the floors. And a few suspicious people walking around coming out of doors marked "do not enter" A bit noisy as its on a busy street. Says they had parking but they didnt have any. But I enjoyed my stay!

Good hotel with a great location.

A comfortable hotel in a great location with lots of character and history. Antique furnishing provided a quant charm and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was a buffet that helped to start the day off right.

Great option in Pisa

Old classic hotel by the river, great location with easy walk to the Dome and Tower and just 13 min walk from the train station. The hotel is old style but in very good shape, I got a room with river view and it was well worth it. Loved Pisa, underrated stop in la Toscana. Staff makes a great aperitif and there is a very nice terrace to enjoy a sit down. Would stay again.

The hotel was very cute and cozy and what I expected knowing it’s one of the oldest hotels. The location was ideal being close to the airport and to the tower of Pisa. The staff were very helpful with explaining the event that was happening on the river at the night of our stay as well as guiding us to the roof for a better viewing experience. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Little comfort in the room

Generally a clean hotel however the room is dated and sparse with almost no electricity sockets. Granted it's a very old hotel but a bit more comfort such as a rug on the old wooden floor would help. Staff very obliging.

We knew this property was older, that was the appeal. It takes you back to another time. We loved our room with a balcony, and the lovely rooftop terrace isn’t to be missed for taking a nightcap up with you. There weren’t a lot of amenities, we were prepared with our own shampoo etc. we faced the street which seemed to be a gathering place for young people at night, so a set of earplugs is a must and you won’t be bothered. Great location, we would stay here again.

We arrived at the hotel very late, to a friend of Welcome and the offer of room service for some drinks, as the hotel didn’t have a bar The staff kindly helped us to get our bags to our room which is very spacious and clean, although a little bit tired in decoration. However the excellent location of the hotel in the historic centre overlooking the river more than made up for the decor. A pleasant buffet breakfast was included in the price. All of the staff were extremely helpful & friendly. I would happily stay there again

Wonderful view from the room. It was an easy walk from the train station and then to the leaning tower. The wood floors were... interesting. Definitely needed to wear shoes in the room. But the room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Excellent building and location

Beautiful building but in some need of care and attention, but not a problem and we still enjoyed our stay , excellent location to explore both sides of the river and within a few seconds of some lovely bars
