"Wonderful stay, unfortunately it was just one night. The host was very welcoming. There was a shared kitchen that had many extras. It was obvious the host thought about what his guests might need. The place was spotless. It was located in a very peaceful setting. We would definitely recommend it."

After talking to a guest that was there the owner finally arrived, irate that we disturbed his guests, and he had NO IDEA WE BOOKED HIS PLACE. Good food in the restaurant, although the smokiness made me not want to linger. Despite the name London Rooms, the staff had fairly limited English, but their care and willingness to work through language barriers was part of what made the place charming and fun. "Not a very welcoming experience — we were not able to schedule a shuttle thru the hotel as advertised. Room is minimalist — no kettle to heat water for coffee or coffee cups. Would not recommend this hotel!!"

"It was great to have such a nice place to stay with such a good view! Truly unexpected. Small things to help for next guests would be an ashtray for outside and paper towels and frying pan in the kitchen. The check in /out process was great. Maybe adjusting the listing on Expedia too so guests don’t think it’s another location becuase that was a little confusing. Otherwise we had a nice stay and great time in Zagreb! Thank you for everything!"

The best part about the apartment was the location - around the corner from the main square in Zagreb although neither taxi company dropped off or picked up at the door due to roadworks. The apartment was clean, had a good shower, had plentiful supplies of towels etc. and the bed was ok. It is on the third floor so as older travellers the lift was essential.
