"Super cool place BUT, the walls on the upper rooms are single wall i think because the guest in 201 i was in 202 arrived back from a party at midnight and not only could i see the light from her room in my bedroom i could hear every word she and the person she was talking to on the phone with for 45 minutes. It was terrible. Also I had the Ribeye steak for dinner and they put some kinda sauce on it that I did not care for. May be better on a weekday."

"We've been coming to Burney for business a few times a month since January this is the first time we Stayed in the Slammin Sammy Suite. We stayed during the 4th of July holiday weekend for Burney Basin Days Festivities. Seriously it was so large it felt like a house had everything a home has dishes, toaster, coffee pot, microwave, fireplace, 2 bathrooms one with a jetted tub. "Room was large and beautifully designed. (Nuthatch) Breakfast was huge and delivered to our door!! And we were able to order an amazing Indian dinner ( my husband and I couldn’t finish ONE meal!!). This was our second stay, but with new owners who did a great job!! We would choose it again if traveling in the area."

"This motel was disgusting. There were hyperdermic needles around the facility. They had overflowing garbage in every trashcan around the motel, house keeping walked by all day long and did not change them out. There was garbage all along the corridor, the outside was absolutely filthy. The dog area out back had overflowing cans. We encountered a few black widows in the parking lot by car and outside our room. They had cockroaches in the bathroom, wall, and ceiling vents. The staff congregate...

"This is a great little hotel with an old motel vibe, but with remodelled, Americana themed amenities. The staff were beyond hospitable and extremely welcoming. Would highly recommend this place for a stay and will likely be back when in the area again."

"My 3 day stay was comfortable. This is my second time staying at this property in Redding. The suites are spacious and clean My only personal gripe is the light motion detector in the bathroom. They have a nightlight. They really don’t need a motion detector light in the bathroom when you get up in the middle of the night to do your business. It’s so bright you need sunglasses."

"Basic motel/camp with lovely views of the lake. Short drive to Lake Shasta Caverns and Redding, so the convenience is a big selling point. Good value for the price."
