"Upon receiving my receipt, I noticed that I was double-charged for the resort fee dated All the staff were great, except when I fell, no one bothered to check up on me. I had to call the front desk for ice, and they sent a security man. Never did the manager show up or make a phone call to check on how I was doing. Also, the tub in the room was stained yellow because it was so old. I booked this place because of the bathroom picture they advertised, and it was all lies"

"The room smelled like mildew! If you’re a minority you will feel outcasted at this place . A bunch of hidden fees after we paid up front 1600 to our surprise we were told we had to pay an additional 700 for resort fees for only 3 days! The place is nice but the judgement I received because of my skin color I will not come back to this place !"

"Can't say enough good things about The Surfing Turtle! The room was spotless and spacious. The AC was on point, the staff was friendly and super helpful, the shared terrace is super cute, and not to mention the location is everything. A lovely café across the street, bars, restaurants, and the beach just steps away. I will definitely be returning and staying there again. 10 out of 10!"

"This place is really peaceful and beautiful. I stayed for a few nights and enjoyed my time there. Parking was phenomenal and the staff are communicative. The only downside is there’s no TV nor a microwave in the room. There’s a microwave in the breakfast room/area that you have full access to anytime. And wifi is superb to where you can stream on your phone. Keep in mind though that they are near a rainforest so depending on time of year it'll rain. Also I LOVED and will miss the French vanilla coffee from their espresso machine. So dang good especially with cinnamon. Also this place is conveniently close to Luquillo beach and would definitely recommend going there early in the AM to be the crowds and get a good spot."
