"The staff were friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the linens for the bed were all great. However, the property is a bit dated with no extras that American travelers are use to. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk to the waterfront. This was our first time in Monaco (well near- not technically in Monaco proper) and I guess I was expecting everything to be superb. Everything is pricey so I suppose the property is expected to be fairly basic given the affordability compared to waterfront hotels."

"1. Shower had a very loud whine that could not be controlled and made the whole room shake. 2. When the bathroom door was closed a large part of the marble side wall of the bath collapsed. Just not what one would expect at this price point. No hair dryer in the room and no milk for coffee. Price was €1,200 for the room for the night so you would expect more "

"It is a cozy place to stay for a vacation. The hotel staff and owner are lovely people. We booked for one night and extended for another night. If time had allowed us, we would have stayed more days there. The property felt like home. Where it is located: Cap D’ail itself , has so much to offer already. And bus stations snd train stations are close. It’s easy to go to Monaco and Nice. We will miss Hotel Normandy. "

"HVAC good Breakfast good for the price Booked larger expensive family room hotel gave me a smaller cheaper room has not refunded as yet I was fast asleep midnight when I heard some noise in my room I turned the lite on see 2-3 strangers claiming it was their room I need to get out.Administration downplayed. I could not sleep in my room thereafter I dont know next time how I would face a hotel room probably night mares in future because I never encountered such an incident in my life "
