"Bed was reasonably comfortable. We were there during a heat wave, no fan in our room but one was provided for our second night. Parking was a bit of a challenge.
For Canadian travellers, not the traditional B&B, breakfast is not automatically included in your stay, check to see if you have paid extra!
Very busy street, bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper and book a room facing the street. Check in was fast and easy."

hotel was very nice, NCP close to it is terrible you need a bike to get in,

"Lovely hotel, but in dire need of TLC. The foyer is incredible and very grand, but as you venture further into the hotel you see doors with missing paint, one lift out of order (has been for a while from other reviews). There were marks on the bedroom walls and the windows were absolutely filthy and in need of washing, the bathroom had mould in the sealant. The wooden window frames were flaking. Bed was lovely, as were the pillows. You can't fault the location and the price, but just a few...

"Reception staff were lovely and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was gorgeous.
However the spa area was dreadful, gym was small changing rooms were awful, run down and grubby. No private changing facilities. Tiles were mouldy the toilets smelt very bad. In the pool area the whole area was grubby bits of tiles missing and covered with masking tape. The tiles around the hot tub were mouldy, window sills were rotting and flaking away. Not what I expected from a luxury chain...

"When I first arrived, the receptionist offered to change my room to a lower level one once she saw how much stuff i would have to carry and I didn't even need to ask. Definitely set the expectation, the lovely staff was the highlight of my stay. The bathroom was very large and clean, there's no daily room service but they have staff at hand 24/7 if you need something. Its in a busy area with lots of pubs and restaurants nearby so outside it can get pretty loud but you can't hear anything from...
