Tourist Trap

Before I get into all the negatives of this place, let me say that if your plan is to bring a group of children to a place with multiple pools, buffet meals, and hourly activities, Chrispy World is not so bad. If you want comfortable beds, a normal-sized TV screen, reliable WIFI, reliable air conditioning, reliable electrical outlets, and to not be nickel-and-dimed for little extras, then avoid this place at all costs. The Wifi signal only works in some rooms of the hotel, and no matter what, it automatically disconnects every 15 minutes, making most any extended use impossibly inconvenient. When I arrived, not all of the electrical outlets worked, which took them several days to fix. Some of the plumbing was old and the drains and fixtures got stuck several times. The air conditioning system was extremely weak, and the drainage line was clogged so it dripped water into the room. Furthermore, they do not allow guests to keep the power on when they leave their rooms, and the AC takes several hours to actually cool the room, so it is more for show than practical. The all-inclusive package is a waste of money, since the included wine was awful, and sometimes the recycled buffet food was rotten - although the evening cocktails were acceptable. I recommend looking up the song Master of the House from Les Miserables on YouTube (the original London cast)

Schönes gepflegtes Hotel

Das Hotel ist sehr schön. Das Hotel zu finden ist sehr schwer, da es keine gute Beschreibung gibt. Ein Auto ist absolut empfehlenswert, da das Hotel sehr abseits liegt.

Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale !!!

Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale sopratutto in "all inclusive" con possibilità di "lunch box" per le escursioni giornaliere. Ottima struttura, camere pulite, servizio buono, piscine belle e pulite, cibo sempre vario e abbondante, zona tranquilla da cui si può arrivare velocemente in centro o da utilizzare come base per visitare le stupende spiaggie a Ovest di Creta. Personale gentile e disponibile, soprattutto al ristorante ed alla reception. Wi-fi in camera un pò lento ed a volte intermittente, ma la camera era lontana dalla reception. Caffè filtrato "americano" dal gusto orribile, ci siamo attrezzati con il Nescafè, caffè espresso a pagamento (€ 1,50) per chi proprio non ne può fare a meno. Da evitare, per gli italiani, il ristorante italiano "Rosmarino" per i gusti e le modalità di preparazione molto lontani dalla nostra amata cucina soprattutto riguardo la pasta, buono il risotto ed accettabile l'impasto della pizza anche se dal gusto "alternativo". Ospiti in maggioranza francesi ma anche molti nord europei, italiani pochissimi. Animazione francese (inglese) poco invadente anche se a volte un pò rumorosa. Spiaggia vicina all'hotel di ciottoli, necessarie le scarpette, lettini a pagamento (€ 2,50) o con consumazione. In generale ci siamo trovati molto bene dal 9 al 23 settembre e lo consiglieremmo a chi non ha tante pretese.

Ho soggiornato al chrispy world 10 giorni a settembre, non mi sento di dare il punteggio pieno perchè mi è sembrato mancasse qualcosa come se con un pizzico di sale si raggiungesse la perfezione.....però cibo buono......accoglienza buona.....pranzo a sacco avevo letto le altre recensioni che dicevano che era eccellente, per me non tanto, ma è sempre meglio di niente. Posto ecccellente anche per raggiungere le più belle località di mare di Creta ......io lo consiglierei e ci tornerei di nuovo (anche se di solito non torno mai nello stesso posto)

Pleasant hotell

If you are looking for a hotel suited for a family pool-holiday, I would recommed Crispy World. The hotell is well organised, the facilities are good with friendly staff and the place is clean. If you choose the half-board og all-excusive it is very easy to calm down and get into the holiday mode, without leaving the hotel. There is a local spa at the hotell with selection of treatments and an in-house store with some necessities. It is a five minute walk to the pebbled beach. The swells can be a bit rough, but that's nature on the north coast of Crete. There are not many places of interest in walking distance, but there are regular buses to the more populated places towards Chania.

All-inclusive resort

Nice modernized hotel for all-inclusive family holiday. Buffet in restaurant tasted good, but became repetitive after a couple of days. I could not understand the break in ice cream service in the middle of the day... Extremely poor wifi. Make sure you get a room in the newer part of the hotel.

Quiet, calm and safe place perfect for families.

Despite the fact it was almost end of the season on Crete we were very nice welcomed by Ksenia. Even though we have arrived around midnight we had selection of dinner menu prepared for us in restaurant with fully prepared table and all drinks were available for us. Same pleasant farewell. We were able to stay in room untill the afternoon due to late flight and get the lunch. Very clean place. Rooms were cleaned every day, towels and sheets changed daily. We had a room 653 with pool view, so we been able to watch after daughter from the room or patio. Have noticed that our room and rooms situated close to reception, restaurant, bar and swimming pool are getting free wi-fi range from lounge router. If you want to spend your holiday little bit more active you can play football, basketball or tennis as you have two pitches or use gym. If you want to relax you can chill next to pool or use spa where we get one complimentary massage and used sauna for free. Efi was very nice and helpful at Spa.

Fint hotell med utmärkt pool

Hotellet har tre pooler dock med lite varierande kvalité. Bra standard men avsaknad av WIFI på rummet drar ner betyget något. Lite avsides vilket kan vara en fördel men att ha tillgång till bil är inte helt fel.

Crispy overboekt, maar geweldig opgelost

Een week voor vertrek ontvingen we een mail dat het hotel overboekt was. Hier waren we natuurlijk niet blij mee, omdat Crispy World ons de perfect bestemming leek voor een mannenweekend, waarbij we door het all inclusive concept precies wisten wat het weekend ons zou kosten. Ksenia van Crispy World heeft dit perfect opgelost. Ze heeft ons over geboekt in een prachtig hotel Louis Crete Prinsess. We hebben een top weekend gehad en het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken. Ksenia nog bedankt voor al je moeite!

tres bel hotel ,vue sur piscine avec grand balcon ,a coté de la mer chambre confortable et demi pension comprise ce qui donne un excellent rapport qualité prix même si c'est un buffet l'inconvenient c'est que c'est un grand hotel avec beaucoup de monde et quelque peu bruyant pendant le repas

Nous étions installé dans une chambre grotte, sans accès internet , et les réseaux portables ne marché pas non plus. Nous sommes arrivés vers 15h, heureusement pour passer une seule nuit, la chambre était envahie par les moustiques, je suis passé au moins 2 heures pour tuer les bêtes affamées. Dîner ordinaire, avec un vin blanc degueulasse ( vin en poudre ?). Pour le petit déjeuner pareil, jus de fruit en poudre, fruits à la fin de leur vie,le tout insipide. Literie première prix , des oreilles pour enfants, la catastrophe.

Beautiful hotel but not for all inclusive basis

Hotel's grounds were very beautiful. However the all inclusive it's not good as there are restrictions in hours and variety. Ex.alcohol free is only for beers, wine, ouzo and after 18.00 they serve 4 specific cocktails (preformed in pots!) And finish at 23.00. The architecture of buildings is great and in general I would choose this hotel only for BB or HB. Thare is nothing to do around. Hotel's staff is 5 stars!!! Great people work there.
