"We can’t believe this hotel is only 2 stars, it’s nicer than some 4 star hotels we have stayed in! The staff were so kind and helpful, especially Oscar on reception and the breakfast staff. The room was very large, modern and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. It’s in a great location, so close to the beach, marina and great restaurants. "Just Hostel, Alicante is very easy to find. The street it's on, and the local area is a nice, clean and safe neighborhood. Supermarket directly across the road sells quality food and drinks at very low prices. Hostel Staff were great. Friendly, problem solving, cheerful people. There's a small army of cleaners who work tirelessly to make the place spotlessly clean. My Pod was great, everything worked fine. The other guests I met also had no complaints, everything was good. I would stay again....

"Worst experience ever - the room smells mouldy and me and my wife felt suffocated just from staying there for 1 hr. We tried everything, opened windows and vented for a long time but the smell keeps coming back. Note that this was the «deluxe» room! "Booked as a last minute stop before early flight next morning but would definitely book again if ever returning to Alicante. Check in was done via WhatsApp as we arrived after 4pm but once contacted they replied promptly and sorted everything within minutes. Room was clean and presentable. Bed was super comfy. Shower was great. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Reception clean and tidy. Couldn’t complain about a thing. We had just come from a ‘4 star Hotel’ elsewhere and this spot put it to shame....

"Another fine stay, Hostal wouldn't warrant a stay of more than a few days, but really good for early departures from Alicante/Elche airport, or late arrivals, though make sure you have your details as it's automated check in later on."
