"The hotel was very poorly staffed throughout our stay. 75%+ of tables had dirty glasses / empty bottles that needed clearing. All draught options were off at the bar and we were charged 20% service for opening 2 bottles of beer. The spa was ok but very tired. The changing rooms had a lot of broken plastic worksurfaces. The pool itself was ok but had clearly had a rushed refurbishment with a poorly fitting pool liner. It all felt quite claustrophobic. The jacuzzi was way over-chlorined...

"The room was excellent and reception staff were fantastic. You now have to pay for parking not acceptable in a hotel. Bar not respecting clients privacy by shouting room numbers across the bar and names. Unacceptable. Breakfast was a disaster if staff spent less talking to each other rather than checking the state of play with the food. Ie little food available when flagged they said oh we will cook some more.
