"Clean, nice staff and easy to navigate. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Could have done without 730 am bagpipes outside room, but otherwise nice."

"The pool not only didn’t have towels EVER… the lights are not on at night! It’s pitch black. When we asked for the lights to be turned on we were met with a nasty attitude from the staff. When we asked for towels for the pool they said to check the storage containers near the pool… the only thing in the container was spider webs and nasty other bugs! It’s a good thing no one hurt themselves in the dark parking lot pool!"

"Room was booked to sleep four: queen bed and pull out sofa. But the sofa only slept one (small person). Staff was kind enough to get us a cot for the 4th person. The original sheets on the pull out sofa were ripped and stained. Staff were again helpful and hot new linens. We had to shuffle the sofa a bit to fit the cot in. Then I noticed trash/rubbish that had been missed during cleaning. Staff were by far the best part of the stay. And not every hotel can be shiny and new. But...

"The staff is friendly. The location is good but not quiet. There is one thing unique about the property. If you want your hair to smell like bacon, you must stay in this hotel. Once the breakfast is prepared, your room, which may be at the other side of the building, will get the equal amount of this wonderful scent. The room was clean. The mattress was old. The bathroom has a very small counter. Be careful with the tub liner, it may tackle you. The pool is closed. The grounds is not maintained...

"Pleasantly surprising room after a very off-putting lobby. NO ELEVATOR, which could be an issue to some! Lobby and hallways are pretty gross, but the rooms are clean and well-maintained. Staff was really rude, but I honestly didn't really care. AC was working, parking was easy. Bed was really comfortable. Very good cheap option in the area if you just need a place to shower and sleep."

"The room was freezing cold for about a half hour when we got there but the heater worked well and eventually it warmed up. Room was large and clean. Parking was right in front of room. Wish the room had a full length mirror. People travel when they have an event to go to and we like to see how we look. The bathroom mirror sort of tilts down for a bit of an outfit check but a full length would have been great. Bed was comfortable and bedding was really nice! Guy who runs the place was very nice!...

"Before booking check to make sure the AC has been repaired. The AC was out in my room. I notified Anastasia by text and she told me to wait and that it would continue to cool down. It was a hot and stuffy at 79 degrees. The window was wired shut so we were unable to even get fresh air. I was disappointed with the doubletree but the staff did nothing. I love Doubletree usually. Poughkeepsie failed us."

"Check-in and checkout was seamless. Staff was helpful when needed. Amenities were cool as well as complimentary breakfast was a nice touch."

"Plenty of parking. The man at the counter was always there and helpful 10pm or 6am. Does the man sleep?? Everything was very clean. Our room was very clean but as many have said, needs an update. Even the ac filters were clean. The tv wasn’t working and the front desk guy came I. And fixed it in 3 minutes. The room looks abused and well used. The tub had a crack. The ceiling tiles had water stains. The lamp shade by the bed had a large crack. And these are just a few things I noticed. But as...

"The front desk staff were awesome especially Dottie and Dena. They made the trip more enjoyable. Breakfast was great daily. The only issue I had was the hot water needs to be checked; the shower didnt stay hot and the water in the sink didnt stay hot. Other than that, it was a great experience."
