"This is a wonderful hotel chain. I have stayed at the Drury in Wichita and had a great experience there. This time was the Drury in Overland Park. The staff at the front desk were fantastic and easy to talk with. We unexpectedly were upgraded to a King suite with the separate bedroom from the living space which was a nice surprise.
The only thing with our stay that was a little off was the AC worked fine in the living space but the bedroom unit never kicked on and it got a little stuffy overnight, even with the door between the rooms being left open for air flow. It may have been designed that way when thermostats were added instead of the two individual wall units per room for efficiency reasons.
The breakfast was good with a variety of options. Please add hot chocolate packets to the coffee and tea station as well as liquid creamer! They really want you to watch portion sizes with the cold cereal as they basically gave you salsa holders for bowls.
Overall it was a great stay and will be on our list of good places to stay in the KC area!"
