"The staff was very nice and the property was close to the Plitvice park but NO EFFECTIVE AIR CONDITIONING! What they call an air conditioner is not really one, and doesn’t cool the room. It’s hot in the summer and air conditioning is necessary. The other amenities were appropriate for a 2-3 star property."

"From the photos I expected a dusty rustic cabin. Instead I found a clean room, although the furniture was a bit dated. The bathroom was modern and clean. The kitchenette was small but effective. The Nespresso machine was appreciated. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. You leave your luggage in their parking lot, where an attendant picks up and delivers it to your room/cabin. "This is a very good location from which to visit Plitvice Lakes. I tried to figure out how to make the most of day there ahead of time, but it was hard to envision. The manager gave us simple directions which made the journey easy. This hotel is located near entrance three, used by far fewer people than the other two entrances, so we were able to avoid large crowds. Food was also very good!"

"Very nice little “cottage”, albeit more like a mini-hotel inside. You don’t have the whole place to yourself, there are several rooms. Very close to the national park (10 minutes walk) and surrounded by nice countryside. The rooms are spacious with a large bath, TV, mini-bar etc. The bathroom was a little small and dated in my opinion and didn’t quite match some of the other parts of the building. The bedding also felt a little cheap (e.g., the fitted sheet didn’t fit and kept coming off)....

"We picked this location based on many recommendations on different forums. It still surpassed our expectations. The setting is absolutely lovely, the owner was so sweet and helped map out our path through the National park. We were able to stay in the reception area and watch the England-Croatia world cup game with some other guests and had a lovely time. Breakfast was very nice and fresh for a reasonable price. "We had a wonderful stay at Boutique Villa Pearl of Plitvice. The rooms are large and airy and perfect for relaxing after a day in the park. The location is unbeatable. It’s an easy 5‑minute walk to Entrance 3, which made getting into Plitvice Lakes simple and stress‑free. This is definitely the way to do the lakes as entrances 1 & 2 were very congested.
