"Convenience: located within the medieval walls of Rothenburg. The valet parked our car, and we walked everywhere. Close to restaurants, activities, and shops. Runs a little like a BNB. Beautiful: the area is gorgeous, and the hotel is 750+ years old, which makes it charming and interesting. Food: dinner is amazing - the best meal we had in Germany and Austria on a 2-week trip. NOTE: the restaurant closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so make an effort to get there on the other days - well worth...

"Excellent location and beautiful hotel. We were there during the heat wave and there’s no AC. It was probably 80 degrees in our room. The staff was very nice to give us an extra table fan but it was still very hot until 4 am when it cooled off outside. We opened all of the windows and propped the front door. It was cooler in the hallway than our room. I would still stay there again, we might just buy our own fans next time."

The breakfast was great. The WiFi was not great. Other than that, this hotel is a short walk from the train station and perfect location inside the medieval wall. "Convenient location for the center of Rothenburg. The hotel is contactless. I had a little difficulty entering the code to release the key for our room. Also…no breakfast is available onsite. Our room did not appear to have a working smoke alarm. There was parking onsite behind the hotel but it was badly in need of repair."
