Mycket skön personal

Hotellets personal är väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma. Läget är perfekt vid starten av shopping- och restaurangområdet och inom ett par minuter finns båtuthyrning, paragliding, m.m.

Great stay at the Grand Holiday.

Great stay at the Grand Holiday, the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Pokhara and getting to and from other areas if you are planning on trekking and when taking buses to different parts of Nepal. The room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. It's located close to the lake and far enough away from the main centre of lakeside so that it's even quieter than other parts of Pokhara. A nice 5-10 min walk gets you to the other end of the main road running through lakeside. Depending on the room there can be an amazing view of the Annapurna mountain range and if not there is a nice roof top terrace looks directly at Machupuchere. Hot showers, decent wifi and a good breakfast menu.

Herligt sted

Skønt sted med dejligt personale, der var hjælpsom med alt. Kunne ikke via jeres app bestille et værelse med altan så første nat havde vi et værelse (der var lidt slidt men rent) men allerede ved indcheck sagde de at vi næste dag kunne få et værelse med altan og udsigt til bjergene. Kl.10 næste morgen var værelset klar. Dejligt med god plads og gode stikkontakter og stort badeværelse. Alt var rent og pænt. Wi-fi havde ind imellem sine begrænsninger men det er til at leve med. Hotellet ligger i en rolig sidegade til Lakeside promenaden med kun lidt trafik. Personalet var hjælpsomme med alt og kan arrangere ture etc. Morgenmaden var buffet, når der var mange gæster, og ellers bestilte man fra menukortet.

Very nice hotel, very close to lake and shopping.

Great Experiences in Pokhara. The hotel staff was able to guide me with transportation to the World Peace Pogoda, although, terrible on my knees I was able to see most of it.

this hotel is just off Lakeside main road, it is quiet, clean and staff are friendly. Great mountain views in the morning. But if you cant do stairs this will not be suitable as there is no lift

The stay was quite comfortable. The hotel staff helped us in the worst situation of earthquake. but i must say that the room comfort was very bad because the bed mattresses were too poor and cheap quality. rest all was satisfactory.

Big rooms

Good value for money. The family rooms are actually two adjoining rooms and a balcony. Close to main drag but far enough away as to be quiet at night. Rooms clean and good friendly service. Would stay there again.

Acceptable if you only want a room to crash in

The place clearly caters to a backpackers clientele, which is visible from the very limited service provided, the basic conditions of the rooms and the minimal level of both decor and cleanliness.We anyhow had an acceptable stay as we were not looking for anything fancy and this was within an acceptable budget. But if you want to be closer to the walking area, do look as there are similar options (in terms of quality and price) that will have the advantage of being more central. All in all not too bad but certainly nothing to write home about.

Nice Place

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room fairly worn but comfortable. AC working well when electricity running. Nice view from rooftop. Good breakfast. Nearly a 10 minute walk from the center of town so a fair amount of walking must be done from this location. Overall a great value for the discounted price I paid.

very close to lake in pokhara, five minute walk to shops and restaurants. the rooms are shabby not very clean. no hot water for long periods could do with some up-keeping, new paint etc staff were very pleasant.

Excellent Location

Overall I had a wonderful experience staying in this hotel. Outside view was excellent from both sides (windows). I stayed two nights (22-23 March). Hotel staff was very friendly. Did not get chance to eat at the hotel, so no comments on the food section. They can improve on room furnishing as they have a very good property located at an excellent location.

The hotel's location is pretty good as it is near the lake and main tourist area of Pokhara. Food is fair. Service is standard. We stayed here before and after our Annspurna trek and had 2 different rooms: first room was a bit small but came with a balcony and a lake view (however a new hotel is being built which blocks some of this view), second room was more spacious without a bacony or good view. Beds were comfortable, wifi was patchy at best, bathrooms were very basic and needed some TLC. They have a backup generator for power cuts, which are frequent. It is a budget hotel so you get what you pay for.
