What’s not to like?

Just returned from a week here. What can I say? Firstly the staff..superb! Excellent team all round, always courteous, very efficient, faultless...and that’s not something I say very often. Food?...I’m honestly a bit bemused by some people’s comments. At every meal there was a huge range of dishes , surely something for everyone. All the food was fresh and well presented and prepared. Personally I was spoilt for choice...just not sure what some people expected. The hotel was spotless, from public areas to the rooms...great job from housekeeping. The room was just fine, comfortable beds, lovely balcony, great view! Ok , so there weren’t many English tv channels...but who goes on holiday to watch tv?! If I’m going to pick fault it would only be with the bar area..ok it is a bit soulless and if the evening entertainment isn’t your thing, and personally for us it isn’t, and the weather means you can’t sit on the terrace or use the roof bar, you are a bit stuck...but ...it’s not the end of the world to take a drink to the lovely balcony really. I’d say a car is pretty much an essential if you’re not wanting to stay in the hotel all day everyday..but there are plenty of really good walks from the resort and tourist info over the road we’re re helpful. All in all I really cannot find anything negative to say...really impressed...great job guys!

Rommene er moderne og fine med fantastisk havutsikt. Felles-områdene, resepsjon, bar, spisesal og uteområde trenger en komplett «make-over». De fremstår som sterile, kjedelige og gammeldagse. All-inklusive løsningen gjør at de fleste gjestene tilbringer det meste av tiden på hotellet- og felles-områdene blir derfor ekstra viktige. Maten var ok- men bar preg av masseproduksjon.

Beautiful place to stay.

Nice rooms. Beautiful location with fantastic views from the balcony. Basic drinks are included(GT, sex on the beach, pina colada, etc.). Great breakfast buffet with freshly squeezed orange juice.Okay food for lunch and dinner. Poor dessert. Poor shower, it changes between hot and cold all the time.

Nice view from the room.

We had an excellent stay in the hotel. The view from the room was really nice. Just the bay and the sea. No noisy guests.When you look for a quiet stay go to this hotel.

Tolles Hotel mit gutem Essen

Das Hotel liegt direkt bei einer kleinen Bucht. Da es nur ein Erwachsenenhotel ist, war es herrlich ruhig. Das Essen ist spitze und die Zimmer riesig. Alle Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Rund um das Hotel gibt es nicht viel und wer mit dem Auto anreist kann nur in der Umgebung parken (kostenlos). Wir können das Hotel nur Weiterempfehlen.

Nice beach location

The hotel has a great location for the beach right next to a small cove with lovely views. Rooms are a good size, nicely done - ours did have a few maintenance issues though. All the staff helpful and polite. Food was ok, nothing special and not 4 star. Quite a bit of choice but nothing really seemed to go together to make a meal. No cocktails included on all inclusive drinks which you would expect for a 4 star. You need to get out early with your towel if you want a sunbed near the beach as people seem to reserve them with towels from the night before (quite funny when we woke up to rain one morning!). There are signs saying towels would be removed but this never happened. Lots of spare sun beds around the pool but we found this too hot at times at there was no sea breeze. There isn't that much in the way of activities close by (we did rent bikes one day and kayaks another), you need to go to Pollenca port for more which is 5 miles away. In all we wouldn't go back, although lots of people were regular visitors. For us the food lets it down and we would probably prefer more activities on tap.

Helt ok, men lite utslätat anpassat för engelsmän. För den som vill göra det lätt för sig finns ju möjlighet med all inclusive och att få alla mål från bufférestaurang och bar på terrassen. Trevligt bemötande och rent och snyggt. Cala San Vicente är en liten lugn plats och jag fick kanske känslan av att Don Pedro är ett lite för "stort" hotell på just den platsen. Vi stannade bara en natt på vår "genomresa" och det är synd att fastna på ett all inclusive-hotell som detta och inte uppleva mer av Mallorca.

Voyage en itinérance

Un gros conflit est venu entaché notre impression vis à vis de cet hôtel pourtant pas dénué d'interêt et dont la vue est impressionnante. La personne de l'accueil s'est obstinée à nous refuser une deuxième réservation effectuée le même jour mais sur 2 noms différents ; pourtant, nous avions pris soin d'imprimer les documents necessaires et nous lui présentions le récépissé d'Hôtels.com que nous avions reçu sur notre smartphone mais sans succès ! Il aura fallu attendre de voir une autre personne le lendemain et appeler une personne du site pour débloquer la situation ... Dommage !

A bit of paradise..

Fantastic place with a superb wiev from the "seawiev" rooms. Faboulous water for snorkeling.Good food with a lot of different dishes. Very good service in the restaurant.

Good on a budget, but you get what you pay for.

We arrived at the Hotel Don Pedro in extremely heavy, driving rain. Roads were flooded and there were six foot waves on Cala St Vincenz, which is pretty sheltered! It rained for 24 hours non stop and had blown against the hotel's seaward windows, leading to flooding in many rooms including ours. Whilst this was disappointing, our room was mopped up promptly and kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The balcony doors are old and really in need of replacement, which is probably the case throughout the hotel. As such they are not secure and we would recommend that you use the safe, or leave no valuables in your room. The catering was copious but of a mediocre standard. Evening entertainment seemed popular but with a small child we did not see much of it except the mini (children's) disco which is nightly after dinner and is great for the children. All in all, not bad value for what we paid; we had bad weather which exposed a key weakness in the infrastructure, but for a cheap and cheerful break in season you can ignore the insensitive 70s architecture and make the most of the seafront location.
