"To start, I’ll say that this is an objectively nice place to stay. There are great views of the sea and the rooms are big. The bed is very comfy. However, there were a number of important details missing, especially for the price. The shower in my room had a wooden floor. This clearly never dries and made the room smell horrible. It also felt quite unhygienic. The same issue existed near the pools - the wooden flooring is slightly warped and rotten, which is a bit of a hazard. The sauna didn’t...

Arrived early and we were accommodated with a ready room, and shuttle arranged to take us very efficiently to the airport day of our departure (only a 10-15 min drive away). "Due to the bad weather our flight from Terceira to Sao Miguel was cancelled and rebooked by airline for two days later. As a result, we stayed at the hotel two nights less than we had paid for. We asked our travel agency for a refund and they attempted to contact the property multiple times to get an approval for a waiver, so we could get a refund.
