"We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff is so welcoming from the moment you arrive. They make sure you are having g a good time and help you out with activities and food in the area. The hotel is the cutest and the garden is beautiful. Breakfast was great we had ours outside. They also have the cutest pets a dog Cece and cat Bella. We also saw they had pet turtles in the garden. "Room was run down and the breakfast was included in the past but not now. Staff said that the name change and rebranding was meant to attract business people but there were no working outlets in the room and no usb or other charging outlets apart from one socket in the bathroom. Very inconvenient. The place was much nicer to stay at in the past 15 years but has been let down by its owners sadly. "

"The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache...
