When we arrived at the hotel, everything initially seemed very nice. During check-in, the staff asked if we wanted to store our snowboard in the ski room. We said we would do it later because we first needed to take our snowboard boots out. They said that was fine and completed the check-in.
The next day, we went snowboarding and were shocked by how expensive the lift tickets were. While on the slopes, we met other guests who told us about a “Stay & Ski” offer for CHF 47 per day, which must be purchased for the entire length of the hotel stay.
Since we had already spent over CHF 200 on lift tickets, we went to the front desk to ask about this. The staff told us it was impossible that no one had informed us and said we should have read the booklet they gave us at check-in. Later, another staff member admitted they forgot to mention it but still insisted it was our responsibility to read the pamphlet.
When we explained that we would be skiing more days and asked to buy the discounted tickets for the remaining days only, we were told this was not possible and that we must pay for the full stay. Despite explaining the situation again, the response remained the same: there was “nothing they could do” and it was entirely our fault.
The hotel itself is nice, but unfortunately the customer service was very disappointing and lacked flexibility or understanding.
