"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"One of the loveliest stays I’ve ever had. Great, quiet location, and parking was easy. The bed was incredibly comfortable - possibly the most comfortable of any hotel I have stayed at. Breakfast was perfect, and the staff in the morning were brilliant. The on-site spa is a great touch - though limited in terms of facilities available to residents, but this wasn’t an issue.
