"It was as good as expected. I prefer modern and clean instead of rundown and historic. That’s why I didn’t stay in the center of Venice and have chosen a respectable spot around train station. The staff was very helpful. Especially the gentleman was extremely polite and took his time to explain what we might needed to know. However, we left our luggage in the hotel to pick it back up, with the haste of the moment, the gentleman didn’t provide us a ticket for the luggage. He was busy grabbing us some water. We thought that wouldn’t be a problem. When it was time to pick our luggage, the gentleman was not there, but the lady who has seen the interaction made a big deal out of it. I understand this is for security reasons, but even though we have explained that they were the ones didn’t provide the ticket. She insisted that it was our fault to lose the ticket and we were lying. She didn’t say we were but made us feel and acted in the way you know how. This was the only downside so far. "

The staff is very professional and kind. Having access to laundry, groceries, restaurant, and being able to walk safe in the area is very important to us. The water in the shower could be a little hotter, but other than that we are very satisfied with the place. "
