"Papa for a room with view and was only half way up. Trees in the way. The bathroom was old. They put one washcloth in a room with double beds so you would think they would have at least 4. Has to call. Staff never brought them as they said so I has to go swm to the deal to get the later that evening. The refrigerator barely worked it just chilled. I put my frozen Ice Packs in the freezer and they were melted in the freezer 3 days later. I have stayed here at least 5 times before and the rooms I had were better. One time the day before my trip they had a plumbing problem so they sent me to the hilton which had a bad obstructed view. The casino tower is in the way that is why I like The Oakes. I go twice a year and will think of other places to stay."

"Beds were very soft, cheap mattresses maybe. Wrinkled bedding made first bad impression. Second lock on inside door broken. Bare bones room...no frig or microwave BUT Bathroom clean, soap, shampoo provided. Breakfast sufficient..waffles, toast, cereal, juice"
