"Came for a 2-night vacation just to get away from LA. The location was close to Ventura, Channel Islands, beaches, and the Ventura County Fair which we visited. The room was great, the buffet breakfast was pretty good, the gym was pretty good. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Enjoyed sitting by the pool and relaxing, althought the noise of the freeway was always in the background. I booked through Hotels.com, and I was surprised to get a 4.95 internet access fee which wasn't outlined previously but I was informed was standard with 3rd party bookings. Overall, however, we really enjoyed our stay."

"Considering the hotel was under construction, it was terrific. No pool or gym, but still had breakfast and it was quiet and clean. Staff were helpful, courteous abd friendly"
