Port McNeil was a very nice little town situated right on the ocean . It has great views of the harbour and you can walk to anywhere you might need to go . I would recommend staying at the Sportsmans Inn at the waterfront .

A very basic room for one night. It provided a bed which was all I needed. I felt safe as a single traveler, however, walls were thin, and I could here snoring from the room above. Overall, it served my purpose, but would not stay there for any period of time.

Family stay- base for whale watching

Small town stay to go whale watching. Good size room and comfortable bed. Easy check in and check out. Good location in the town, beside the shops and restaurants. Decor is a little tired but good value for money given the limited options in the area.

Other then you need to be aware of where the hotel is located, the hotel is amazing, clean, friendly staff, art gallery close to amenities and continental breakfast included.
