"Yeah was a good stay staff was friendly and helpful, parking around the area is fairly priced/free over the weekends and location to town was perfect as only a £8 taxi into Bristol. Rooms were clean and well laid out, would have prefers to have a tv and hairdryer in the room but you’d have to bring ur own haha. Would rate is 7/10 overall nice place to stay."

However, all of that was overshadowed by the fact that one bedroom was crawling with bedbugs. "Lovely clean modern hotel in a great location. Rooms were spacious and the separate shower and bath in the bathrooms a real bonus! It was great to have the pool with sauna and steam room although it gets busy and you need to book a time slot in advance. The breakfast was also good. The only downside is there’s no onsite parking but there’s a pay and display car park about 5 minutes walk away. Overall we thought the Apex hotel was excellent and will definitely seek out others in this hotel chain for future stays!"
