"I booked 2 rooms. Mine was fine (apart from mould round the shower), and had a fantastic view of Barry Island, however, the other room smelled really bad, and was so hot that my daughter couldn't sleep. The car park wasn't great. Yes, you can park on the street, but I drove up to the carpark and had to reverse out, down a steep slope. I didn't use the facilities as I arrived late and had to leave early, but I understand the bar was pretty expensive. I would most likely stay again, as the room was a good price, but if I get a stinky room, I'd complain straight away."

"We have just had a wonderful stay at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea and can’t recommend it highly enough. The hotel was spotlessly clean, in a fantastic location right by the beach, and everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to the reception team, Amy and Jeanetta, who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. They were friendly, professional and incredibly helpful. We would also like to thank Lynne, the supervisor, and Sara at breakfast. They were absolutely fabulous. The breakfast was excellent, with such a wide variety of fresh and delicious food, and nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you as well to all of the bar staff, who were so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Everyone made us, and our dog Pippin, feel genuinely welcome, which made our holiday even more special. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back! "Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was continental and look after yourself, but there was plenty. Only issue was parking, parking g on the street was very hard to find a space. There is however a pay and display carpark at the rear, which is free overnight. As I was leaving at 8.20 in the morning a parking attendant was checking cars, so you would need to keep an eye on your leaving time."

"Really nice one night break to gt away from it all. Everything was excellent only thing will request next time is a superior double room over the courtyard rather the outside of hotel as we were overlooking staff area and were woken by trolleys at 8am. That was room 225 but must say beautiful room, very comfortable bed and bathroom modern and very clean. The restaurant food is excellent and very good value and friendly helpful staff. One thing for the Bar manager through, he needs to train his staff of correct glasses to use for gin / spirits especially as so many gin's to choose from. Not a wine glass for spirits. Maybe you should get gin glasses. Also asked for double Baileys and bar girl poured from the small measure so it was really a single and paid for double, did question but she said it was a double but definitely was not as had ice cubes. Minor criticism overall everything was top notch."
