"I would highly recommend this hotel. We chose it at first because of the free parking - a rarity in a big city. The location was very good - a short direct drive to downtown and Washington Park is very close.I was a little leery as we got off the elevator to an outside corridor with cement block walls, but I quickly learned that the room was very good. It was a very large suite with a complete kitchen. There was a good-sized living room as you entered, with many windows to provide light and a beautiful view of Portland. In fact, although we didn't see it the first day, you could even see Mount Hood. As a final benefit, they provided complimentary tickets to the Japanese Garden, which may not always happen."

"Room was great and view from balcony was superb! Housekeeping came by couple times and refreshed towels and made the bed. No breakfast bar and I did not utilize the coffee area. Staff was great and always friendly. "

"Didn’t appreciate the third party parking lot pay system which generated a lot of concern about how enter and exit the property. Also the barriers at the front are way too narrow making it difficult to navigate with a full size truck"
