Staff were awesome. Simple breakfast for the roads everyday. Due to carpet and animal friendly, our room was ok but that funky smell and hairs on the night stands. We did request to change but decided to stay due to our missed - animal/dogs friendly inn. Lesson learned. Good things to notes: great areas, stores and restaurants nearby.

I like the location proximity to restaurants, but we wanted to stay to look at the lake and was unaware that the lake would be drained. The real drawback for us was the super small bathroom and overall musty smell. I think the hotel is due for a remodel!

The Lakeshore Inn is our favorite place to stay near Portland. The staff is friendly and and the pool is great. Lake view rooms are wonderful. There are a lot of excellent restaurants and trails nearby. The only thing was that in our otherwise nice room, the sink was slow to drain and the shower curtain did not stop the bathroom floor from flooding. Highly recommend this place.

Location! Location! Location! The location is amazing! Beautiful sunrise and sunset. Sitting on the deck overlooking the lake was fabulous and the hotel is walkable to all of downtown LAke Oswego. The building is old and they have done their best to renovate but if you want everything to be new stay at the cookie cutter hotels out by I-5. I loved the fun (a little sassy but really funny front desk staff). On the downside, I will say that I suspect our bed was not a true queen… it felt like a double/full but I did not get a measuring tape out. I was just looking at the view!

We had a very nice stay. The front desk staff, especially Anthony, was very helpful and kind. The pool is beautiful and right on the lake. (There is not a fence between the pool deck and the lake, so young kids will need to be supervised.) The property is older yet well maintained and quite charming. We would definitely stay again.

if you get a pool side room the sliding glass door opens but there is a wall outside that doesn't let you out to the pool so you have to go out the front door and walk all the way around the building to get to the pool

I just loved my stay, except for a few things…construction in the room above at times I was sleeping..quite annoying. Breakfast, not breakfast! This place is in such a fantastic location for anything one wants or needs, great restaurants & stores. The staff is so helpful and friendly, especially Anthony at the front desk! My only suggestion is the owners should invest some monies into maintenance and a coat of paint. Thank you!
