Seagull Cottage is perfectly located for viewing the Kerry Cliffs and accessing Skellig Michael. It's also just up the hill from PortMagee and the pub where the filming crew for Star Wars stayed. Our room was spotless and the beds very comfortable. Great find.

It is a very lovely quiet and quaint stay. The food nearby is amazing and the whole journey of doing the Ring of Kerry and staying here was grand. Would recommend.

Awesome stay!
The inn was fantastic. Clean and spacious! They are expanding the property so construction was going on, but had no issues or complaints. Check in was easy and the owner was very nice! Close to Portmaggee restaurants. And it is in the dark sky reserve so fantasic view of the starts at night! Would definitely stay again.

we felt so at home here at the Seagull Cottage, a relaxed setting , very close to the Cliffs of Kerry, as well as the ring of Kerry and so many other amazing sites. our breakfasts were so good and made for an amazing start to the day. Having our laundry done was an absolute and appreciated bonus here too.......... an awesome stay in a beautiful part of the world.

The big roof window actually provides a very good amount of natural light, but as you mention yourself it is weather dependant and when you arrived it was so sunny that I had the blockout blind half down. When you left it was cloudy and rainy, so I understand where your concern is coming from.

It’s basically a big house, and you should expect to be left to your own devices while you’re there. The proprietors live off site, so there is no one around much of the time if you need help. I arrived a bit after 6 and had to peer through the front door to see the number to call to be let in. Breakfast was kind of a high-end continental: cereal, bread for toasting with various spreads, a small plate with cold cuts, some fruit, juices, etc. The proprietors were there during breakfast but not much in evidence; I would have liked more hospitality. On the plus side, the place is clean and attractive, and very close to the harbor if you’re doing a Skellig trip.

Comfortable stay in a gorgeous area
This is a modern, minimalist B&B (4 rooms total). The proprietor Andy is very thoughtful. Everything was clean and sufficiently comfortable. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The house is 1km from Portmagee where boats for Skellig Michael depart. There are also two great restaurants in town. Be sure to drive Skellig ring, and see the local sights (kerry cliffs, skellig chocolate, abbey ruins). This area is the best part of Kerry.

Fun small town to just sit back and take in the view, this place gives you the opportunity to relax and process what you have seen in Ireland and what is about to come. The staff was top notch and accommodated everything you would need to feel right at home and comfortable.. Its walkable to dining, pubs and shopping

Well-placed at the western end of the Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring to visit Portmagee, Valentia Island and the Kerry Cliffs. Modern, clean and bright. Access to tea-making facilities in the dining room. Good continental breakfast with home-made items, though not included in basic price - have to add it in. Very quiet and rural.

Just to clarify, we have four different rate plans available when booking, two of which include breakfast. So if breakfast is included in your reservation or not depends on the option you choose when booking.

We loved our stay at Seagull Cottage. We travelled to Portmagee to do the Skellig Micheal boat tour the next morning, but sadly it was cancelled. However we had a lovely walk to the Kerry Cliffs instead. The owner Dan made us feel welcome with snacks and a really nice breakfast. I wish we were staying longer and wouldn't hesitate to return and try to do the Skellig tour again!

Very clean, wonderful breakfast, and beautiful view. The property is only 1 mile from the Kerry Cliffs which are breathtaking. We highly recommend this B&B!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seagull Cottage. The bedroom and kitchen were immaculately clean. Andy was a wonderful host and the breakfast was delicious. They did a nice job remodeling the house as a B&B and had lovely personal touches. The location was perfect. Highly recommend.

Great stay at Seagull Cottage
Although cottage is 10 minutes walking distance from Portmagee port, its location gives the property the feel of remoteness and freedom. Room was comfy and clean, and also the attention to details by the owners, make this a place agem.

Fantastic B&B with home-made scones and oat bars. Lovely simple decor, super clean, comfortable and quiet. Two minutes drive from Portmagee. Would highly recommend staying here.

This place was simply amazing! Quiet and cozy our room was warm and welcoming. So close to some of the best views ireland has to offer. My wife and i absolutely loved it. This will be one of our main stops for all furure trips to ireland.

Andy and Caroline are very welcoming. The guest house is spotless and comfortable. They even have a welcome pack in the room which i thought was a lovely touch. I had a very pleasant stay. Would recommend.

This B&B is clean, beautiful and a great place to stay if you're gong on a boat ride to the Skellig islands. There's a really sweet islands feel to the decor. And the hosts are great about following COVID protocols.
