Hotel nice but Portosin is ghost town off season

Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. Perhaps the businesses make enough in high season to ride out the rest of the year and this is of little concern to them. After spending hours in the coastal ghost towns (which are absolutely brilliant in summer and brimming with activity, dining options, festivals!!!) The experience traveling off season as a tourist to this area was very disappointing. Advice to travelers — be mindful of your travel dates.

Die Unterkunft war zentral in Portosin gelegen. Die Rezeptionistin konnte leider nur spanisch. Die Zimmer waren hell, sauber und gepflegt. Auch das generelle Hotelambiente war ansprechend. Leider war der Toilettensitz etwas lose und wackelig, weil eine Schraube gefehlt hat.

Muy recomendable

Todo perfecto. El hotel es ideal, limpísimo y con todo lo necesario. La amabilidad de su personal es altamente destacable: siempre atentos a las necesidades de la familia, proporcionando información de la zona y con detalles "dulces" (bombones, caramelos, ...) en recepción todas las tardes - noches. Ideal para conocer las mejores playas de la zona. La única pega sería la dificultad de acceso por no disponer la carretera de un paso de peatones o semáforo cerca. Están reivindicándolo activamente todos los vecinos y espero que pronto lo consigan. Así sería perfecto. Hemos estado muy a gusto. Aunque el wifi iba regular (protestas de los adolescentes... ; ), probablemente repetiremos en un par de años.
