"I was disappointed with this hotel as it was supposed to be 5 star. The staff were just ok didn’t really go out of their way with help or advice. The barman was quite unhelpful and rude. Also there was building work going on next door so we couldn’t even sit on the balcony or have the doors open because of this. The hotel did not fore warn us of this when we booked otherwise I would have reconsidered our stay!"

"We loved the eclectic decor and the garden. We had a bedroom with an attached lounge. Unfortunately due to water damage we could not use the lounge.This did impact our stay with reduced space. The owners were apologetic but their misfortune affected our stay with the use of space. The breakfast and location were great. "Communication with the host was easy. The accommodations were well-appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. In the cleanest and most modern way possible, the apartment has old-world charm. I do wish the check-in could have been electronic. I was uncomfortable with leaving my Passport info on a form in the apartment. (I realize there was a website to leave that info. It was not really user-friendly.)
