Our stay at Palazzo Margherita was truly unforgettable. Since it was our first trip to Positano, we were very careful about choosing the right place to stay — somewhere close to everything, yet peaceful and away from the crowds. Palazzo Margherita turned out to be the perfect choice. The location was ideal, with a convenient mini market just up the street where Giuseppe and Emilia welcomed us every morning with warm smiles, great coffee, and fresh sandwiches. We stayed in the Sponda room, which felt more like a beautiful apartment than a hotel room. It was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and featured a full kitchen that made us feel right at home. The true highlight, however, was the terrace. The views were absolutely breathtaking at every hour of the day and made our stay feel magical. What truly elevated our experience — not just at Palazzo Margherita, but throughout our entire Amalfi Coast trip — was our hotel host, Mauro. From the moment we booked, Mauro reached out personally to help arrange airport transportation and answer any questions we had. Once we arrived in Positano, he went above and beyond with recommendations, local tips, and even organizing excursions for us. By the end of the trip, it genuinely felt like we had made a friend in Positano. If you’re considering where to stay in Positano, Palazzo Margherita is an outstanding choice. And if you have the opportunity to book the Sponda room, you’re in for an unforgettable and truly magical experience.

Our family had a wonderful day at this amazing place. It was absolutely stunning. The ceiling were very high and the interior was so beautiful, especially the living room and the bedroom. The location was great, because it was on the street so you didn’t have to carry all your luggage down the stairs, where most of the hotels are located. From our patio, which was very spacious you could see the best view of Positano😊

Palazzo Margherita is a beautiful historical building in a very convenient location, with fantastic views from the room. I stayed with my husband and our three teenage kids, and we had a great time there. Mauro was exceptionally kind and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

My family and I recently stayed at the Palazzo Margherita in Positano and it was the PERFECT location! I LOVED so many things about this hotel. The size of the room AND price compared to other surrounding hotels. It was spacious enough for us 3 adults plus they offered a travel crib for my toddler. They also provide a driver to pick you up from the airport (for an additional price) and take you directly to the front door of the hotel without having to carry your luggage up all of those stairs you see on tiktok videos. Overall we had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

This hotel is a dream!!! It could not have been more perfect. Maybe the best place our family has ever stayed—-tons of space for our family of 5, spectacular balconies, great location, and so clean and updated while also having gorgeous antiques and decor. We LOVED it!!!!! We walked two minutes to local store and made this plate for breakfast one morning.

Excellent Stay with Stunning Views We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient—close to the bus stop and local shops. The views of the Amalfi Coast and the sea are absolutely beautiful. The hotel manager Mauro was outstanding—very responsive and helpful in coordinating events and making sure everything ran smoothly. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and we appreciated the welcome bottle of champagne. A great touch! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Positano.
