"I had a wonderful stay at La Bougainville. The room was stunning, exceptionally clean and offered a perfect view of Positano, made even more special by the beautiful balcony. Breakfast was absolutely sensational, with a wonderful selection to start the day. What really made the experience memorable, however, was the exceptional staff. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful and attentive, always going above and beyond to assist. Although the building is older, it is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and perfectly situated right in the heart of Positano, making it an ideal base for exploring. A truly lovely experience from beginning to end. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend La Bougainville to anyone visiting Positano!"

"We definitely loved our stay, staff was excellent. Tina at the breakfast buffet was lovely and their 20 yr old Pepita (cat) was the highlight of our day, the kids loved her and were excited coming to the property to see her and pet her. The beds were not comfortable but the view paid for it. The property is 20 mins walk to the city center but the walk was pleasant, sometimes we took the local internal bus for $1.80 euros."

"The hotel offers modern eclectic decor. Very unique... Including multicolored lights in the bathroom shower area. Friendly staff and great restaurants that are walkable.. The hotel offered and organized a trip to a local restaurant high up in Positano called Da Costantino. Well worth the visit. Fantastic views. The tiramisu was really good. Great bar area which also offers a full buffet breakfast for €25/day. Alternatively, you can order off the à la carte menu, which includes omelettes, coffee, etc. The local bus service stops outside the hotel and transports you down into the town and back for a small fee….If you don’t want to walk the 1000 steps up to the hotel. Positano offers services to nearby Capri and Amalfi as well as from Naples, Sorrento and Solerno. Ferries are a great way to get around the Amalfi coast if you don’t want to tackle the roads which wind through the mountains with hair pin bends😳."
