"I booked this online and reserved it. They charged me $96 on my credit card (I didn’t know they had charged me until I looked at my card days later. I thought I was going to pay when we got there. When we got there that evening, they said that there are no rooms available. So we left and stayed at another hotel in Schulenburg. I realized days later they still charged my credit card online. & he is REFUSING to refund me even tho we didn’t stay there cz they said there were no rooms left...

"For an advertised non-smoking room, it smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was stained and in disrepair. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat and not enough of them. It was cheap and convenient but I’d probably not stay there again. Towels were clean and having a fridge and microwave was nice for such a cheap room. Lack of deadbolts and safety bar was unsettling. The young lady at the counter was very courteous and brought my ID to my room when I forgot to take it. She was probably the best feature of the motel."

"It’s a dirty dump! The pool was gross (bugs, chipped concrete, full trash, and trash in the bushes). The fitness center was a sauna - the air conditioning didn’t work and it was 80 degrees in there according to the thermostat. They said they were having someone come “next week” to fix it. They didn’t even have towels in there. When we checked in, the woman wouldn’t give us an extra blanket - said we could just turn down our AC. She also said there was nowhere to get water even though there is a filtered water dispenser in the sauna/fitness center. The elevator was very dirty and a tripping hazard on the 1st floor as it dips down for a few seconds and then comes back up, so don’t step out quickly. We also had to replace our room keys multiple times as they would work a few times and then not work. I think we ended up with 5 or 6 keys by the end of our 4 night stay. Our relatives stayed next door at the Holiday Inn and I can say that their fitness center and pool were better. The air conditioning was good and the bed was very comfortable. Besides the woman at check-in, the other staff was very friendly."
