Very nice property 20 meters from the beach.

Had a very nice stay here, super friendly staff, excellent service and cleanliness. An improvement could be made on the wifi since it’s not really available in the rooms, just in the restaurant/lobby area. For the rest, great stay.

Perfektes Hotel auf Praslin

Das Hotel ist super gelegen. Traumstrand auf der anderen Straßenseite. Das sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal sorgt für einen genialen Aufenthalt. Auf Wunsch werden einem Liegen zum Strand gebracht, und nach Bedarf auch die Getränke dort gereicht. Die Zimmer sind recht groß und sauber. Das Frühstück vollkommen ausreichend. Das zum Hotel gehörende Restaurant ist sehr gut.

Pirogue Lodge är ett utmärkt val av Hotell det är rent och snyggt med en mycket vänlig och trevlig personal. Det ligger även mycket bra vid stranden och det finns möjlighet att promenera till supermarket om man vill handla något.

Perfect Location

Everything in Pirodge is promising. The beach, the room, the decorations, the breakfast, and most importantly, those staff who made us feel welcomed! Thanks to Nadia, Ed, and Patrick. We just had an issue on the dinner time when we are supposed to eat in the restau but the lady on duty did not allow us to sit on our choices of table because she wanted to stick with her arrangement. I wish she could have been flexible. We ended up not eating there and cancelled our dinner reservation. Other than that, we love our room, especially the balcony. We wish we could stay longer.

Perfect stay!

We stayed here for 2 nights and couldn't have been happier with the lodge! Everyone was super nice and always very helpful. Michelle checked us in and gave us some very useful tips for must-sees on the island and good spots for food and drinks nearby. They also have a restaurant with delicious breakfast items, lunch, and dinner. Since we had to leave very early on the day of the checkout, they made us some breakfast the evening before, which we could store in our fridge overnight, and even organized a taxi to the ferry station. The Côte d'Or beach is just across the small road and is a very nice place to get some tan and to swim. They also carry the sunbeds to the beach for you, just ask at the reception! And if you're an early bird, do not miss out on the beautiful sunrise! If you want to rent a car, just ask the reception, too, and they will organize everything. There's even free parking right in front of the hotel. I can really recommend this place, there's absolutely nothing I could complain about!

Perfect location at a great price.

Pirogue lodge is one of the best places to stay along Côte d’Or. We had a three night stay on Praslin island and were looking for a beach-front property. The Good: -Location. Right in front of the beach. The staff carries the sunbeds from hotel to the beach and you can chill the entire day. -Location 2.0. Multiple options for dinner within walking distance. We had a dinner at a different place every evening. -Cleanliness. The rooms are cleaned twice daily with your beach towels and sand cleaned out in the evening as well. -Courteous staff employing mainly locals. -Warm welcome helping you plan what all you can do during the trip The Bad: -Frankly nothing. Can be improved: -The air-conditioning wasn’t the best with the room being too hot or too cold at times. All in all a very pleasant stay at relatively affordable prices.

Zimmer okay - Service katastrophal

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir ziemlich unfreundlich empfangen. Man wies uns mehrmals darauf hin, dass wir noch zahlen müssten - bereits 5 Minuten nachdem wir angekommen waren. Da hilft auch der welcome-Drink nicht weiter. Am Abreisetag klingelte um 9:54 das Telefon, wann wir gedenken das Zimmer zu verlassen. Check out sei ja nun mal um 10 Uhr. Das halten wir für eine Unverschämtheit, zumal das ja kein günstiges Hotel ist. Zudem bekam man einen Internetzugang für lediglich eine Stunde pro Tag - ohne Option weitere wifi Zeit zu bekommen oder zu kaufen. Das haben wir so auch noch nie erlebt. Die Zimmer sind okay und das Bad in einem sehr guten Zustand, aber der Rest leider überhaupt nicht empfehlenswert.

Отличный отель для 100% relaxa

Отличный отель, небольшой, состоящий из 6 номеров. Перед guest house небольшой ухоженный сад, все номера выходят на сторону океана. Мы жили на втором этаже, с которого просматривался океан! К номеру претензий нет, все на хорошем уровне. Уборка днем есть, вечером смена полотенцев и банных, и пляжных. Бесплатно предоставляется каждый день 2 бутылки ( 0,75) воды. При guest house есть ресторан с приветливым персоналом где можно вкусно поесть! До моря 3 минуты, пляж отличный ( лучше, чем Анц Лацио!), немноголюдно ( это плюс). В 500 м. от guest есть автобусная остановка ( альтернатива дорогому такси, стоимость проезда 5 рупий в одну сторону). На ресепшене можно взять расписание автобусов и бесплатную карту острова. В целом - Отличное место, хороший я бы даже назвала не guest house, а мини- отель, в котором хорошо по- домашнему!!!

Hotel confortable, excellent rapport qualité/prix

Désireux de découvrir Praslin, nous avons évité les grands établissements hôteliers clôturés et sécurisés et opté pour un hôtel "normal". Le Pirogue Lodge a répondu à nos attentes: confortable (grande chambre impeccable avec terrasse, belle salle de bain, grande salle à manger/bar/terrasse en face de la plage) et bien situé (plage, sorties en bateaux et club de plongée en face), le personnel était efficace et serviable. Nous avons utilisé 2 fois le restaurant en 5 jours et nous le recommandons aussi. Seul faiblesse: les chambres coté mer sont aussi du coté de la rue très passante donc bruyante.

Pretty good

We stayed for 3 nights, pretty good experience - friendly service, nice room (lucky we were in 1st floor rooms- i would not stay on ground floor as this is pretty much on the street, although apparently there is a security guard at night), good breakfast included, and in good central location( although beach in front of hotel not the best - boats, murky water, lots of locals). Internet not that great- only in restaurant, only 1hr per day, and not always working). You must have a car in praslin. Compared to our usual hotel stays in other parts of world i would typically rate pirogue as 3 stars, but was the best of our 4 accommodations during our seychelles trip, so comparatively maybe 4 stars then. Seychelles was just a bit different than we imagined, very expensive, very average service, difficult to get good food that is not a complete rip off, very rustic and exposed to the local culture and elements, super humid and hot, and hotels & apartments are pretty hit & miss and average (unless u can afford the exclusive resorts which are crazy expensive), but if you eventually find that beautiful beach you forget about all the challenges and relax....We would stay in pirogue again if we ever come to praslin again.
