"We had the family room with washer/dryer. Apartment was very well situated. Right next to the train main train station and other public transport. Car rental and grocery also near by. We had plenty of kitchen ware, soap for de washing machine and dish washer. Toilet cabinet and shower room were separated, perfect for privacy. Both totally closed off with a wall for the bedroom. "

"We travel a lot, Germany was not necessarily the easiest to find small properties with reasonable prices. Many businesses had intentionally inflated their rates because of Oktoberfest. As fun and festive Oktoberfest is to experience, the event is located in a large outside space that you need to find your way to, and navigate through thousands of festival goers and probably get discouraged from paying for overpriced food and beer, especially when it’s next to impossible to enter a bier garten....

"The location is absolutely stunning. 2 minutes to central train station, where you can find everything. 15 minutes walking to first Karlplatz and then Marienplatz, the most charming site in Munich. One stop by U4/U5 to Oktoberfest. The hotel is very safe and very clean. The staffs are very helpful. I didn’t have breakfast in the hotel b/c train Station has more choices. Very pleasant to stay there. Strongly recommend."

"The Mercure Hotel München Altstadt was within a few minutes walk of all of the Old Town main attractions (Marienplatz, Viktualienmarkt, shopping, restaurants, etc.). Not only is it convenient, the area felt very safe. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again (it is a much better location for the average tourist than staying in the city center). Thank you!"
