"There was a storm in the area when we arrived which had caused some issues during check-in. We had booked the room for 5 days, however, I had to move to another room because of the computer glitch. However, the day manager did contact me about the problem since our room had apparently been double booked. He helped me out with the price and also looked in depth for my wife's heated coffee cup that she had left in the lobby. He dug through the trash to find it but to no avail. He was way beyond...

"The Comfort Inn and Suites at Charlottesville VA is a beautiful place to lodge. I would have given it a 5 star but the remains of pets’ number two is nice to see anytime. I believe a notice for the customers to curb or cleanup after their pets is needed. Plus cameras. Very pleasant stay. The staff is excellent. The breakfast is excellent. I will definitely be a return customer and recommend it to my friends and foes."

"The staff was pleasant and the rooms were basic and very clean. Housekeeping did a great job with daily cleaning. HOWEVER, if you are a NONsmoker, this is NOT the motel for you. "Room given bore no resemblance to that portrayed. It was in urgent need of updating and poorly maintained. Broken blinds and curtain fixings, threadbare sheets, one out of two lights not working, dirt in the corners. All the fittings e.g. shower not close to present standards. Expensive and poorly served food. Terrible value for money."

"For check in they send you an email with the code to the entrance door and your room. Be on the look out for that. Parking is tricky. There is a public parking lot behind the the property that allows three hour parking during the weekday, unlimited during the weekend. Rooms are chic, well maintained, clean. Lots of shopping and fantastic restaurants in walking distance."
