"We stayed 1 night only in the deluxe standard cabin on Jan 7. The room has an unique design, but very small with 1 queen bed, 2 chairs, 1 small table and mini kitchen cabinet (water boiler, toaster, cup, glass, plate are available with free tea-coffee-choc). Shared bathroom-toilet-kitchen are clean. But uncomfortable if in the night you need to go to toilet, you must walk around 2 minutes, and very cold outside! "Loved this place, was very quiet and relaxing with the nice swimming area ( river ) for the kids . Lovely Hosts . The accommodation was nice , I stayed in the one bedroom cottage , it had everything we needed . Will definitely go back and I would recommend this place to friends and family . "After a week travelling through Northland, we found that David and Olive Motel was the best of all. Having the owner on site is a big plus too. David gave us the best advice re dinner and breakfast dining options. The motel was extremely clean, modern,conveniently situated, plus, and this is a big one, the shower did not leak water on the floor!! Very impressed - and made Coromandel a delight to stay at. Thank you."
