"Great location for the hotel to see both the Shinhotaka ropeway and the Kamikochi park. Inside it was clean, quiet and, of course, great private onsens. 2 indoor and 1 outdoor. Water was very hot, but relaxing. Will definitely book again if we're back here"

"My stay at Yatsusankan was so amazing. The surrounding town I was quiet in the winter but is full of culture, beauty, and good food. The grounds of the inn itself are serene and beautiful. The baths were so relaxing and extra peaceful thanks to their two outdoor baths. The staff is so kind and service was wonderful at all times. We had to check out early to get back to Tokyo, and the staff provided us with an early breakfast so that we wouldn’t leave hungry. I hope to return again one day. "

"Okuhida Hot Spring Hirayukan is conveniently located, just a short and easy walk from the Hirayu Onsen bus terminal. A small shop beside the ryokan sells snacks and drinks, which is useful especially in the quieter evenings. Check in was smooth and the ryokan already had our Expedia reservations. "My room was spacious and spotless. My window looked out toward the beautiful Japanese Alps, nice to wake up to! I would highly recommend booking the meal plans for both dinners and breakfasts... the inn is a bit of a walk from town (very do-able), but it was so nice to eat right there, and the meals were just fantastic! Staff is great, the baths are wonderful... would stay there again."
