"OK. I have done it. A straight 'full-marks' across the board. From the moment we checked in, this place has been a delight. Rooms are impeccable. Staff work hard to get you where you need to be.

"The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The kaiseki provided was very tasty and local, with staff who are knowledgeable about the food and the area. The indoor and outdoor onsen were comfortable and relaxing. We had a good time and enjoyed some very reasonably priced and tasty umeshu while there. Highly recommended!"

"Staffs of front desk are rude and ignore clients. Shuttle bus did not showed up and hotel is old. Do not pick it if you have choice."

"Solid onsen option in Gero. Can be a little difficult to access on foot. Large buffets for breakfast and dinner as well as complementary beverages in the lobby and outside of the baths."

"Very convenient location, next to bus station and old town Takayama"
