"Could do with a hoover under bunk beds. Didn’t have all of the advertised vegetables with roast dinner and wasn’t offered any alternatives or discount. Service in restaurant and bar slow at times. Beautiful view of PolZeath beach . Sofas could do with a clean as water stains on them and a few more cushions on sofa would be a nice extra.Overall very pleased with our stay and would return again."

"We arrived and the scaffolding was around the pub making it look like a builders yard. The stairs to the bedroom were filthy, dirty linen was outside the bedroom door. The bedroom was outdated and not nicely furnished. The pub was generally very run down with the food service area looking dirty. Tables had not been cleared from lunchtime at 3.45pm. The whole place looked tired and needy a good clean"
