"Matteus was an excellent concierge for all our tour and transport needs! He is one of two English-speaking persons in Santo Amaro. "I had a fantastic time staying at Villa do Junco. Being tucked away in Santo Amaro, staying here was a departure from the surrounding community as well as a great place. Huge shout out to Beto for accommodating all of my needs/requests during my visit. Not only were our needs at the villa secured but I was able to arrange my transport/excursions through the villa. For planning purposes, be sure to contact the villa well in advance of your trip to confirm transportation from São Luís or wherever you plan to arrive from. My only critiques were regarding communication when it came to setting up my excursions through the villa. I was provided the managers contact information to do this ahead of my trip weeks in advance. Though I was able to make the arrangements over WhatsApp with the manager, I wanted to have details confirmed which was not done until I arrived on site at the Villa."
