"Perfect stop over to midway from Florida to New York City. The room was well kept, clean with breakfast at 6am. The staff was very friendly and easy going."

Bathroom shower curtain are moldy, air conditioners smells horrible. Not pet friendly even though they say they are. The guy seen my dog at check in waved pet fee because she is under 30lbs, six hours into check in they kick me out because I had a pet and didn’t want to give me a refund for the remainder of my stay. "I have no complaints for the staff on duty when I checked in. The two rooms we were given initially were not good—one smelled like mold and the other one had a strong air freshener smell. I was traveling with 2 children who have asthma, so I requested two new rooms. The two new assigned rooms were better but had been smoked in. "There was nothing I didn't like while staying at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Smithfield Selma. This was my second stay at this location and I plan on repeatedly staying there on all my future trips to the area. The staff were so cordial and friendly, and they even remembered that I had stayed there before. Again, there is nothing that I didn't like about my stay there."
