Customer service was horrible with exception of one receptionist. Room was very smoky and we tried to move rooms. Phone and remote did not work. Bath tub was mildewed. But mostly disappointed in the employees. We have stayed here 4 times. The 1st times were good. 3rd visit we had rude employees but thought we would give it another try. We will NOT be returning.

I had to change hotel rooms because the phone and cable did not work. I started to clean the hotel room because it was so dirty. They also kept the doors unlocked so anyone can walk in. People were slamming doors and yelling all hours in the night. Talk about unsafe.

Prepaid for 2 nights. Arrived to the lobby door closed and locked with note saying to go around the corner to the night window. There was 2 bells to ring and nobody arrived. There was also a phone number to call saying "call us and we will be right there". Called 11 times and no answer. When we were there waiting another couple arrived to check in and couldn't either. After a call to Expedia and them communicating with some office lady the next day, the office staff not onlu called me a liar and said there is no way I could prove I was there. They told Expedia their lobny closes at 10 pm. We were there before that. Also no information in their email or Expedia about not ei g able to check in before 10pm!!! Why would I bother to make this up...really...? The Econolodge staff was hostile with Expedia phone support I dealt with and I was issued a refund. (Props to Expedia) As a business owner (I told Expedia) with the experience I had and the unfriendly lady Expedia dealt with on the phone, I would recommend NOT listing them as an affiliate anymore. They definately deserve their already 2 star rating they currently have!!!!! DO NOT BOTHER TRYING TO STAY HERE. If you have a pet go to Raddison Suites Country in. Expedia doesnt list them as pet friendly, but they are. Everything about Country Inn was amazing.

Their quiet hours are10 PM to 6 AM. The people in the room next to us had a dog that howled and barked all night. The people came back to their room at 2 AM. Played with the dog and ate. Microwave door slammed. Then thought that an hour of banging the head board and screaming oh god was okay. Then banged the head board and screamed again at 6 Am. I paid for the room on Expedia and then the hotel changed me for the room and said “oh well “ when I questioned it. So now have to dispute it with AMEX and Expedia. The only good thing was there was a Subway directly across the street

Stayed here two nights during a biking event nearby. Basic amenities but clean, comfortable, dog-friendly and in a good location. Would stay here again.

couldn't check in
didn't get the chance to stay. website says it has a 24hr check in. my wife and i showed up at 11:45 pm. stood outside trying to call someone to check in to our room and nobody showed up. we ended up leaving and staying at a different hotel for the night.

Horrible hotel. Switch plates on the walls were cracked, wifi didn’t work, no breakfast if leaving early. All around a bad experience. Don’t waste your money.

Stayed 2 nights. The only issue I had was the restaurant next store had a live band until after 1:00 am that was very loud, and parking lot was full so I had to park on the street behind the motel.

Not good.
Unless one is on a very tight budget we do not recommend staying at this motel. Of the 4 or so staff we interacted with, 2 were okay, one was at best indifferent, and one downright rude. Twice during our stay one of the keycards quit working and about two hours before checkout both cards quit working. We again asked for the cards to be reprogrammed but were told that we were near enough to check out that we would just need to deal with it. We have never had this happen anywhere else. The bed sagged in the middle. Because the motel is located at the intersection of two major roads, traffic noise is a big irritant with heavy trucks and motorcycles making much noise. To compensate for this we had to run the window AC all night as background noise. However, the AC strongly hits the person on that side of the bed. Part of the reason we selected this motel was because of the breakfast. However, this is a very limited breakfast and starts at 7:00 am which for those needing to get their day started is too late. We have backpacked and camped so we are not snowflakes but this was unacceptable. On a couple of good notes, Prineville has an incredible city park just a couple of blocks away and there are several good places to eat nearby.

It was good hotel. Breakfast is not that good, but OK. there is a hotel nextdoor for food if needed. the staffs were friendly and place was clean. We had 4 people and got 2 queen size beds

We stayed 2 nights while visiting family. Beds were lumpy amd sunk in towards middle, smoke alarm was pulled off the wall and was missing, main overhead light didn't work, and the TV didnt work. Small continental breakfast included packaged pastries, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee, whole milk and expired chocolate. We will not be staying again but it was cheap and we spent little time there.

Front desk no show
Do not stay here!! I reserved a room for one night and called ahead to let them know I was checking in late. When I arrived at 9:45 PM, no one was at the front desk and no one answered the phone number that was posted (I called it several times). I couldn't find another room in town (there was a festival) so I drove towards home (5.5 hours away). There were no accommodations town after town so ended up driving all the way home. I received a text this morning that I was going to be charged as a no show so I called the motel. The assistant manager answered, said she was there last night and that I never showed up. I suggested she look at security footage because she would see me and offered to send a screenshot of my repeated calls but she rudely disputed the truth. She finally agreed to refund the charge and then hung up on me.

Would not stay again nor recommend
Poor customer service. The morning counter person wasn’t friendly, unaccommodating, and very unpolished. We asked for some towels and was told we had to wait until 9:00 for the cleaning people, meanwhile we needed to get on the road. She was tending to the morning breakfast with no shoes and hair was a mess. When the front desk person isn’t there there all these signs saying not to do or take only 1, so at checkout, again we are trying to get on the road and they want us to leave the keys in a basket. What if someone took our keys, went back into our room and trashed it? There was also mold on the ceiling in bathroom which we didn’t get a photo of.

Good: nice staff, nice continental breakfast, the bed was ok. Bad: WAY OVERPRICED (paid about $115 per night, worth at the most $65 per night), tiny room, smelly, walls were filthy (not sure what the dried drips running down above the bed was…). WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN!

Nice place to rest.
Econo Lodge was a pleasant place to stay. Its not fancy but gives decent internet speed, clean room, and ac that worked. Their continental breakfast also had a large selection of muffins, bagels, treats, cereals, yogurt, orange juice and plain and flavored milk. Perfect place to stay after a day hike.

I was traveling through, it was OK for 1 night. Nothing fancy, advertised "free breakfast" nonexistent, considering lobby being locked at 7AM when I was checking out. Area around property filthy, some sketchy characters on the parking lot.
