Hotel dekat Prison Break Market

"Very good, lovely room and clean. Staff just awesome"

"The staff are wonderful here. The grounds are well maintained and quite beautiful. The jacarandas were in bloom as well. I was travelling in Johannesburg on my own and had excursions booked throughout my short stay, but when one failed to turn up, the lady on the travel desk was quickly able to book something else for me for the same day. The food on site was amazing beware the huge portions from the courtyard menu. Great breakfast buffet too. This hotel has great facilities available but...

"Unfortunately we did not like our stay. To start the accommodation is NOT in the premises advertised (I wonder if the guesthouse in the pictures exists at all). We were moved to a flat in a closed, ugly, complex and I found out only because I realised the pictures the owner (or whoever Billy, the person I was exchanging whatsups with is) did not correspond to the guesthouse advertised. Billy did not ask me if it was OK to be moved to another accommodation and only when I asked him what was going...

"Great host who is very welcoming and accomodative. This is also in a good location because it is just 5 mins away from the main highway. The room is warm with heater."

"WONDERFUL PLACE!!!! IRIS & GIGI ARE SO WELCOMING AND ATTENTIVE TO ONE'S EVERY NEED. THEY COULD NOT BE MORE ACCOMMODATING. OUR AIRPORT TRANSFERS WERE ARRANGED, PRIVATE JOHANNESBURG TOUR/DRIVER ARRANGED, BEAUTIFUL BREAKFAST INCLUDED, LOVELY RESTAURANTS CLOSE BY. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!!"

"Do not stay here. Hot and noisy AC in every room. The worse sleep in years. Booked a Deluxe room and was given a Superior room without being told why I’d been downgraded. Mistake by the reception team is what I was told. All rooms in the hotel have an AC issue. Management, reception and maintenance all acknowledged this. Even when the AC is not running there’s a constant water cycling noise over 50dB. The fix? Turn off the AC. But in over 30deg heat that’ll give you the worst night’s sleep...

"Beautiful property on a safe and quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was beyond amazing and the owner was very helpful and accommodating. God Bless her!"

"The stay was great and refreshing."

"Excellent "

"Rooms are very clean and property is well maintained."

"I'll share my experience from Oct 12 to Oct 17. First day, I checked in around 9am. It was too early but they kindly let me check in & gave me a room & I went to the room 420. My situation at that time was after over 20hours flight so I went to a restroom & opened an urinal. I literally got shocked because of witnessing a disastrous no2 sight. It was absolutely traumatic experience I never forget for the rest of my life. Then gave me another room 410 (no upgrade). As for the damage...

"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lodge! The property is very private and quiet, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The surroundings are stunning, with lush greenery and charming mini water features that create a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The pool was impeccably clean and refreshing, making it a great spot to relax. The host was exceptionally friendly and attentive and fulfilled all my requests, which made the experience even more enjoyable....

"Ellipse has a fantastic location right next to Mall of Africa, and the aparthotel itself was very nice, but poor internal communication significantly hurt the experience. Check-in was confusing since I received no prior instructions, and despite arriving after the 3:00 PM check-in time, I had to wait in the hallway while housekeeping finished up. Later, I was granted an extra hour for late checkout (12:00 PM) because I was unwell, but management failed to notify staff. Housekeeping knocked at...
