"Very cheap City Centre hotel. I paid under £60 for a dounle room on a midweek to attend a conference at the CBS Arena. Expectation was low having stayed at some other Ibis City Centre hotels but couldnt really fault it. Nice reception area with usual small bar athough they had a pool table also. "Food was very good, reception very helpful, room very quirky. I had to book a family room as last one left - was the only room on the top floor built into the eaves. Two double bedrooms, very spacious and nice and quiet. Be aware that the rooms are in an apartment style building (bit like Butlins) across the car park. App door key is functional once you get used to it, though I would prefer a key or code personally as having all of the doors unlock before I reach them is a security/safety risk, especially for lone travellers. I was very put off by there being a hidden fee retained from the room security deposit, with the alternative choice to have the deposit held for a full 30 days.
