"Pleasantly surprised at how lovely this places was. It has a historic home feel with many beautiful details but also felt like a second home. Our room was very clean with a very attentive front desk and housekeeper. Highly recommend staying here & I hope to return in the warmer months to enjoy the pool and take advantage of the horse riding stables right next door. . Only one small improvement needed-but requires money. The game room needs a face lift cause it could be SO amazing. Other than...

"Hemlock #1 was amazing! The only problems were that it was very hard to figure out how to get to in the dark. Parking was an issue for us since I have mobility problems. You have to park above or below the unit and walk to it. That would have been good to know when trying to find it in the dark."

"The staff was great. The rooms were clean. This is an older motel but it’s maintained really well. Although we didn’t bring a pet, the have 3 or 4 pet friendly rooms. The motel is really close to the entrance of the park and the are several places to eat near by. Also the rates are quite reasonable. We will definitely stay there again."

Also super friendly staff, excellent coffee shop, cafe, general store, and outdoor supply store onsite, and bikes available to ride the paved trail along the roadside. Hope to be back soon!"

"We stayed here while we were visiting the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. We arrived in the evening, after check-in time, so they left an envelope at the door with all the information to access our room. Everything was perfect and breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday mornings was amazing. We loved it."
